Systems Support Engineer
Inventure is looking for an experienced Systems Support Engineer to deploy our applications at U.S. client sites. This will often involve helping local support staff to configure Microsoft SharePoint, troubleshooting issues in their environment, and at times training support staff and/or users. Most of this work can be done remotely but sometimes you will need to go onsite. Ideal candidates should have experience in Microsoft SharePoint, SQL Server and Windows Server. Specific job requirements include the following:
- Deploy Web applications in DEV/Staging/Production environment
- Plan, design, implement, maintain and optimize technology infrastructure for clients
- Collaborate with project managers, developers, and system administrators during applications deployment and testing process
- Work with developers on troubleshooting and fixing application issues
- Collaborate with clients on rolling out application updates
- Document procedures and deliver to clients
- Operational support of enterprise infrastructures
- Setup and configure Windows Server 2003, IIS, SQL Server 2000/2005, & particularly SharePoint 2003/2007
- Analyzing and resolving problems associated with software installation with minimal supervision
- Installing, configuring, maintaining, performing upgrades, on desktop & server systems, and rolling out Microsoft server technologies
- Database administration with SQL Server 2000/2005
- Performance monitoring, storage connectivity, storage management, and maintenance of Intel-based servers
- Familiarity with .NET framework, .NET programming and software development life cycle a plus
- Familiarity with latest mapping technologies (e.g., Virtual Earth) a plus
The Systems Support Engineer will work with clients both remotely and at the client site. 25-50% travel is required. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related role.
.Net Developer (Intermediate and Senior)
We are currently looking for a talented .Net developer to help build state-of-the-art visualization solutions. Ideal candidates should have experience in the following areas:
- Proven development and implementation experience in Microsoft Integrated Development Environments
- Experience developing custom solutions using C#.Net, ASP.Net for Web applications
- Strong working knowledge of Web development using XML, X/HTML and JavaScript
- Database experience with SQL Server
- ActionScript a plus
- Experience with mapping technologies (e.g., Virtual Earth) a plus
Intermediate candidates must have a bachelor's degree, a minimum of 2 years experience, with at least 1 year of .Net programming. Senior candidates will generally have 6+ years of experience.
IT Project Manager
We are currently looking for a talented, motivated project manager to help manage state-of-the-art visualization projects. Ideal candidates should have experience in the following areas:
- Organizing and coordinating projects
- Gathering and documenting project requirements
- Developing project tasks and schedules
- Determining priorities, assigning work and monitoring progress
- Leading a development effort with 4 or more people
- Client interaction, with strong interpersonal skills
- Software project methodologies and tactics for all phases of the software development life cycle
- “Hands on” work as software developer, analyst and/or technical writer in a team setting
- Experience with web technologies, especially .Net
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a project manager, team lead or comparable role.
